Introduction
Hi friends! I’m so glad you’re here. Here is a little intro and some information you may or may not already know.
In these journal entries, you will find a little bit of anything and everything, sort of a short form blog which you may or may not find interesting! So if you find my relatively simple life fascinating, here we go!
At the time of writing this, I am about 6 weeks short of turning 35, which feels like a substantial milestone. I truly don’t mind the actual act of aging, just more wanting to make sure I am as intentional as possible with how I spend my time currently and moving forward.
I have big dreams for my life and aim to design that life in a way that I feel “rich,“ and not strictly in the monetary sense. One example, is that a rich life for me includes getting to be outside in the garden everyday and go take photos weekly.
These things don’t take any money for me to do, just time, but would absolutely make a difference in my overall mental well-being. There’s a significant amount peace that comes from both hobbies and placing energy in activities that give me more energy is always ultimately the goal.
While we are all still in the work force, until financial independence is achieved of course, doing more small acts that give you pure joy will make everything in the process toward that ultimate destination not only worth it, but SO much more enjoyable at the same time.
So I hope if you haven’t given any thought yet, or maybe not enough, to what your “rich life“ entails, I highly encourage you to do so.

Here are a few things you may or may not know about me!:
Photography came to me at 18 years old, so almost 17 years together and counting.
I ultimately got married, twice. To the same person! Jeff and I eloped in July of 2018 and had our wedding 8 months later in March of 2019. If I was to do it all again, I would do everything the exact same. That was very right for us.
I have always had a love for interior design and originally desired to be a stager in college, but life had other plans!
Golf was my sport all through high school and I absolutely loved it. It was a “team“ sport, however, it’s more individually based than anything so I really connected with it.
Gardening has also developed into a passion of mine over the past 3 years. Being able to see the potential of what our yards can become is so much fun and incredible to design and bring those visions to fruition.
